They met through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas that Shahid and his father Pankaj Kapoor were a part of and Mira’s family followed the same faith. They were family friends and Shahid’s father was the one who introduced them to each other. When they first met for the first time, they instantly connected despite the age gap and spoke for seven hours straight. They decided to get married in 2015 and are one of the cutest couples on the block.

Hrithik Roshan’s parents, Rakesh and Pinky Roshan had an arranged marriage. Rakesh Roshan, director, and producer of Hindi films met the love of his life Pinky through their fathers. Pinky’s father introduced the two of them when he was looking for a prospective groom for his daughter. They became friends who soon fell in love and the two of them have been married for over 40 years now and are blessed and happy.

The well known Bollywood actor, Neil Nitin Mukesh had a dreamy destination wedding in Udaipur in 2017. He met his beloved wife, Rukmini because of his family. He surprised everyone with the news of his wedding and in an interview said that it is an arranged marriage and there is nothing shocking about it. “It is the coming together of two families and it is a strong foundation”, he added.
